IVP collection on sale in Logos

Logos Bible Software has been running Christmas specials over the past week, and this is the best one I've seen so far. I own version 2.0, so I won't be paying the money for the upgrade, but for those who don't have it, it's a great set.

I find myself using several of these books regularly, such as Hard Sayings, New Bible Atlas, New Dictionary of Biblical Imagery, Bible Background Commentary, and the four Pocket Dictionaries. These are great tools and do not overlap much with the base packages

  1. Stephen,
Do they make a digital version of Macarthurs commentary? I'm going to spend a fortune buying this volume by volume.

  2. Stephen,

This seems like a great deal, but is this for Logos 3 only?

    @ David
Here is the link for MacArthur's commentaries.

  3. Yes, they are available in digital format. I actually prefer this format for my commentaries You can buy them individually or as a whole set through Logos.com. The whole set is $330.

I also noticed you can buy the MacArthur NT set in Quickverse format for only $150. (see quickverse.com) That's much cheaper, but it does not integrate with Logos, so it's a tough call. I don't like to buy a lot of third part software. Too many programs to juggle simultaneously.

Another option is to download the digital books one at a time as you need them.
